Our Purpose
Middle East and North Africa Platform for Religious Freedom and Peacebuilding (MENAP) is dedicated to promoting the fundamental freedom of religion and fostering peace in the MENA region. Through research, publications, and events, we aim to advocate for interfaith dialogue, enhancing communal harmony and understanding amidst diverse beliefs. Our educational resources and initiatives empower individuals to contribute towards our mission, strengthening partnerships and grassroots support as we work towards a peaceful coexistence.

Dedicated Professionals
Dr. Salah Ali
Dr. Salah Ali is a researcher andbuilding practitioner with a focus on religious freedom, minority rights, and inclusive governance in the Middle East and North Africa. He integrates academic analysis with hands-on experience in diverse and fragile contexts throughout the region. Dr. Ali has led numerous community and youth initiatives that foster social cohesion, cultural heritage environmental action, and local dialogue in impacted by displacement and conflict. By collaborating with regional and networks, he aims to enhance understanding of Freedom of Religion or Belief (FoRB) and empower local communities to shape sustainable peace, amplifying local voices and addressing structural exclusion to promote dignity and meaningful inclusion.
Fadi Abi Allam
Fadi Abi Allam is a prominent expert and trainer in peacebuilding, boasting over 30 years of experience throughout the East and North Africa. He has conducted thousands of hours training in areas such as conflict resolution, human security, and community dialogue, significant work in Lebanon,, Iraq, Jordan, Yemen, Sudan, and more. As the Executive Director of the Permanent Peace Movement, he spearheaded regional initiatives focused on reconciliation, youth engagement, violence prevention, and inclusive governance, while also providing guidance to agencies, international NGOs, and government entities on peace and stability initiatives.
